Banned Items
Many items are inappropriate
for school and will be
confiscated and may be returned
to the parent. If the code is
silent, we reserve the right to
ban items from the school if
deemed advisable. Students are
not to bring these items to
school, field trips, or road
trips.
· Beepers,
pagers, radios, cameras,
CD/video tapes, discs, video
cameras, and similar devices
(exceptions may be made by a
teacher for a specific media
project)
· Alcohol,
tobacco, drugs, or paraphernalia
· Game
Gear or related magazine,
inappropriate books or
magazines, whether faddish or
with perceivable evil characters
· Playing
cards, collector’s cards and
albums, enthusiast magazines
(cars, athletics, skateboarding,
, etc.)
· Skateboards,
skates, Heelies
· Fireworks,
lighters, matches, chains
(including accessories), knives,
guns, sling shots, or weapons of
any type; this does include
water balloons and water pistols
· GUM
is not permitted
at school, during school hours,
including PE class. No food or
drink (except water with teacher
permission) is permitted in
classrooms, however, special
occasions are determined by the
teacher and/or administration.
Students with gum, food, or
drink without permission are
subject to a cleaning fine of
$10.00 and a Saturday work day
duty.
