BuildingBuilt in 2006 the Early Education Building is a new fixture to the LMCA
campus.
Brightly colored to attract the little ones that attend there,
the EE
Building is always full of activity. The building contains two
levels. The top houses meeting rooms and high school classrooms. The
lower
level is home to the Early Education. Protected by security doors
the early education area is a safe and fun environment.

Class Rooms
Each classroom is equipped with access to their own private play
area.
There are facilities and plumbing that cater to their little
height
and slip proof flooring that is soft to a stumble. For a tour

Also attached to the side of the building for your convenience
is the
LMcafe' which serves coffee beverages, lunches, and baked goods
as
well as retails logo wear and LMCA paraphernalia.

History
In 2004 LMCA saw a need to minister the the younger children in
the
valley. However they knew they wanted something more than an
average
pre-school. A committee went out to the pre-school and early
learning centers of the valley to see what LMCA could do to fill
the
need on their own campus. After much research an architect was
hired
to design ideas or this new building that could be utilized to
its
fullest potential.
The capital campaign started and as a result in 2005 work on the
building began. By early October 2006 Lake Mead Christian Academy's
Early Education was
ready to
open its doors thanks to the help of Stephanie McCollum and
Theresa Hehn who were in charge of making sure everything was in code.

The Lake Mead Christian
Academy
The Early Education program is curriculum
based from the Nestlings (2-year-olds)
to the K5 classes. We primarily
use the A Beka curriculum. The A
Beka Book approach to Christian
education keeps learning lively,
interesting, and memorable. Our
materials reflect sensible theory that
is firmly anchored to practicality.
