A 1 to 1 learning program is defined as an environment where students and teachers have 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week access to a notebook computer as well as digital content, educational software, and digital authoring tools.

"Students now have more ownership in their education," says Mrs. Dee, Director of Technology at LMCA. "They have a very powerful tool in their hands for gathering, preparing, and presenting information." The learning process has been changed. Students are collaborating in a whole new way. Our student body has become closer to one another. They share ideas and learn to work in a more “real life” environment. The days of quiet classrooms and boring lesson plans are a thing of the past.

Our students say they are 'more productive' because of their Apple notebooks, and even enjoy doing homework. As a whole, the computers have made our students more efficient.
